Please read fully before booking lessons with Promotor Driving Academy.<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Our Instructors are ADIs (Approved Driving Instructors) qualified and fully licensed by the Road<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Safety Authority (RSA) to give driving lessons. Our ADIs are professional people and will at all<\/b><\/p>\n

    times present themselves in a clean and tidy manner, show respect and consideration and will<\/b><\/p>\n

    be polite, calm and punctual.<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Our vehicles will at all times fit for purpose, fully insured, clean, roadworthy, with dual-controls<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      fitted as standard and with L-plates displayed correctly.<\/b><\/p>\n

      1. Customer Vehicles. Customer vehicles must satisfy all legal requirements. They must be<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        roadworthy, taxed and insured as appropriate with valid discs displayed as per current legislation.<\/b><\/p>\n

        A valid NCT disc (if applicable) must also be displayed as per current legislation. L Plates\/N Plates<\/b><\/p>\n

        must be displayed as appropriate. Customers must be insured to drive the vehicle used for their<\/b><\/p>\n

        lessons. Your instructor will carry out vehicle checks prior to commencement of lessons to ensure<\/b><\/p>\n

        legal compliance.<\/b><\/p>\n

        Lack of legal compliance will result is cancellation of the lesson with full costs to customer.<\/b><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Driving licence. Learners must hold a current valid learner permit or full licence and must present<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          it to the ADI in advance of each driving session. It is an offence to drive without a valid Licence or<\/b><\/p>\n

          Permit.<\/b><\/p>\n

          Failure to produce a valid L permit or a driver licence will result in the loss of the lessons and the<\/b><\/p>\n

          fees paid.<\/b><\/p>\n

          1. Fitness to drive. If the ADI believes that the learner is temporarily unfit to drive will refuse to<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            conduct the lesson (temporarily illness, injuries, tiredness, alcohol consumption or under drugs<\/b><\/p>\n

            influence). If the unfitness is due to alcohol or drug use the pupil will be liable for the full cost of<\/b><\/p>\n

            the lesson as scheduled.<\/b><\/p>\n

            Learners must also take note of any medication they are taking that may affect their ability to drive<\/b><\/p>\n

            safely and advise their instructor accordingly before taking any lesson booked.<\/b><\/p>\n

            1. Areas covered. Based in Dublin 15, our instructors will only cover Dublin Northside area<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              (Mulhuddart Testing Centre, Carlton Hotel Testing Centre, Finglas Testing Centre and<\/b><\/p>\n

              Charlestown Testing Center).<\/b><\/p>\n

              1. Training Location All sessions will start and finish at the same location unless alternative<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                arrangements are made in advance.<\/b><\/p>\n

                The instructor will determine a location for practical lessons which ensures both the pupil\u2019s and<\/b><\/p>\n

                public safety \u2013 this means that at the early stages of the lessons the instructor may need to drive<\/b><\/p>\n

                the pupil to and from the lesson location; this journey time forms part of the lesson as paid for.<\/b><\/p>\n

                If the student wishes to avail of the maximum time of training, then the student should meet the<\/b><\/p>\n

                appointed instructor at the test centre.<\/b><\/p>\n

                1. Bookings can be made directly on our website, using the email address provided in the \u2018\u2019contact\u2019\u2019<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  section or by contacting directly your ADIs using their mobile numbers. Please note that emails or<\/b><\/p>\n

                  phones calls may not be answered during business hours and our ADIs might need to get back to<\/b><\/p>\n

                  you at the end of their shift.<\/b><\/p>\n

                    \n
                  1. Lesson duration. To ensure continuity of learning our instructors will endeavour to maintain<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    regular lessons slots each week. All lessons are 2 (two) hourly unless otherwise agreed with your<\/b><\/p>\n

                    instructor.<\/b><\/p>\n

                      \n
                    1. Punctuality. In their own interests learners are advised to be punctual for their lesson<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      appointments. All such appointments should be recorded and double checked in advance. The<\/b><\/p>\n

                      instructor will generally wait a maximum of 30 minutes before the lesson would be abandoned and<\/b><\/p>\n

                      the lesson fee forfeited. A reciprocal waiting time may become necessary if the instructor is<\/b><\/p>\n

                      delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. Any lesson time lost as a result of this would be made<\/b><\/p>\n

                      up by the instructor either at the end of the normal lesson time if possible or at a later date.<\/b><\/p>\n

                        \n
                      1. Payment must be made at the time of booking in order to secure the ADI and vehicle for the<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        duration of the agreed lesson. All prepaid lessons are non-transferable and must be completed<\/b><\/p>\n

                        within 6 months from the start of 1st lesson otherwise will result in loss of the remaining lessons<\/b><\/p>\n

                        and any fees paid.<\/b><\/p>\n

                        1. EDT Log Book Policy: A fee of \u20ac5 will be charged for EDT logbooks on any other lesson that<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                          requires the ADI to provide an RSA EDT Log Book.<\/b><\/p>\n

                            \n
                          1. Cancellations and postponement. You must give at all times your ADI a minimum of 48h notice<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                            if you wish to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson, pre-test or practice lesson, otherwise you will<\/b><\/p>\n

                            be liable to pay the full amount of the agreed fee.<\/b><\/p>\n

                            If you fail to attend for a pre-paid lesson and fail to provide the minimum 48h notice to cancel or<\/b><\/p>\n

                            reschedule the lesson you will be liable for the agreed fee for that particular session.<\/b><\/p>\n

                            Your ADI reserves the right to postpone lessons if she\/he feels the weather or road conditions are<\/b><\/p>\n

                            unsuitable or dangerous. The ADI cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred as a result of<\/b><\/p>\n
